I think that a MOST have item for Spring is a Motor Jacket.

Loving this one from Nordstrom.

I would wear this Motor Jacket with Jeans, a Black Top and Wedge Boots for a Casual Look.
For a dressy look I would wear a Sweater Dress with Tights and Knee High Boots.
