Last week J.Crew was sued for naming
a cardigan "Duquette Leopard Print Sweater"
J.Crew is a multi brand specialty retailer
that offers an assortment of women's, men's and children's apparel and accessories.
Including swimwear, outerwear, loungewear, wedding, bags, hair accessories, belts, jewelry, and shoes.
It operated 321 retail stores throughout the United States.

Apparently J. Crew named the cardigan after Tony Duquette,
an interior designer known for his use of Leopard Print
on fabric, wall papers, furniture etc.
Duquette died in 1999, but his company continues to show spot prints everywhere.
Hutton Wilkinson who has accused J. Crew of trademark infringement.
The cardigan was replaced with this one
